Missions

At Grace & Peace Presbyterian, one of our great joys is partnering with missionaries serving domestically and abroad. We want to briefly introduce our missionaries so that you can pray for them, support them, and know that God is at work around the world. Please use this list to pray for them by name. In the future, we will be providing periodic updates, prayer requests, and any additional information that may help us love them well as they serve.

Our Missions Committee can be reached at missions@graceandpeacepres.com

The B Family

Granada, Spain

Eddie and Jamie B (and their three children—Ruthie, Sully, and Story) are serving in Granada, Spain through Serge, an international missions organization. In Spain, they are part of a church plant, Iglesia Reconciliación and are continuously building relationships with their neighbors and the people of their community. Through this church, they participate in outreach to Muslim, immigrant, and Spanish communities through Bible studies, English classes, meeting practical clothing/food needs, and other forms of ministry.

The Cain Family

Japan

Brooks and Riva married in 2007 and have been working together in youth ministry ever since. They both attended Covenant Theological Seminary where Brooks received a master of divinity and Riva received a master of arts in counseling. It was there that the Lord called the Cains to serve with MTW’s Next team in reaching the "10/30 window" (10–30 year olds) with the good news of Jesus.

The Cains are based in Nagoya, Japan where they serve with a local church called All Nations Fellowship, reaching out to young people in their community. In addition, the Cains are involved in training next-generation ministry leaders and ministering to missionary kids and families throughout the Asia-Pacific region, as well as caring for the four children (Quinn 9, Marley 8, John 4, & Charlie 6mos) that God has given to them. Please pray for the Cains and their goal of “Reaching the Nations and the Next Generation.”

This family’s information is withheld as they are in a region of Africa where it is dangerous to be a Christian and therefore evangelize.

DOMESTIC

RUF

reformed university fellowship

RUF is our denomination’s campus ministry. We support RUF at various universities and colleges across the country, including: SC State, Furman, Wofford, Clemson, RUF-International at Clemson, Auburn, & Rice.

Rural Church Development: Southern Appalachia

Corey Pelton

One of our goals at Rural Church Development is to build relationships and speak good news into people’s lives praying that God would change hearts and rescue a people for Himself. As men and women come to know the love God has for them, we want to help them grow in the grace of Jesus together. Our third goal is to help raise up servant leadership from within and find leadership from without to serve these communities as pastors either as full-time or bi-vocational.

Church Plants

Orangeburg, sc; taylors, sc; denver, co; huntsville, al; north augusta, ga

We support church planters across the country as they seek to begin new gospel-preaching bodies across the United States.
