What is worship like?
On the first day of the week Jesus rose from the dead, breaking the power of sin and death. So, it's on Sundays we gather to worship, celebrate and remember that ‘the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never overcome it’ (John 1:5). In the midst of trial, worry, or busyness, we put down the work of our hands to consider the eternal work of God. This isn’t an empty ritual that we march through half-asleep; it is the proclamation of grace that reminds us that our worth and identity rests in the finished work of Jesus.
Our worship time runs about an hour and a half, and everything you need to know will be in the bulletin you get when you walk in the door. If you’d rather not participate in parts of the service, that’s okay. We hope that even if parts of the worship feel foreign to you, that you will feel free to simply observe and talk to us about it later.
What if I have children?
Please check child(ren) in before the service starts. Nursery opens at 9:45am. Those attending Children's Church will be dismissed after Prayers for Children.
NURSERY
We provide nursery care for infants through three-and-a-half year olds. Each room is staffed with background-checked volunteers. During nursery, children are encouraged to play, and to get to know each other. We are grateful for the opportunity to get to know your child! Please pick up your child(ren) from Nursery after The Lord's Supper.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH
For those children 4-5 years old (and not yet in kindergarten), we invite to attend worship. After the first few songs and Prayers for Children, they will be dismissed to Children's Church. There they will study a Bible Story, sing a song or two, pray, and get to play. It is our hope that Children's Church fosters community among our young children and allows them time to interact with God's word in an enjoyable, age-appropriate way. Please pick up your child(ren) from Children's Church after The Lord's Supper - we look forward to singing a few more songs with them at the end of the service.

Note: Please don't park in front of the homes on Paul Beacham Way.
Love Feasts
On the first Sunday of each month, we eat lunch together after Sunday Worship. We'd love for you to join us—the only thing you need to bring to the meal is yourself (and maybe a blanket or some camping chairs)!
Two of the major points of how we want to further proclaim and embody the good news of Jesus is through welcome and wonder. We believe both of these things are encompassed as we eat together (a tradition that stems from the early church, and is reflected in the ministry of Jesus). Having church-wide meals twice a month gives you time to meet others in the church that you most likely wouldn't meet otherwise. It also creates a welcoming environment for those who are completely new—either to our community, or to the Christian church in general. And it is especially welcoming to those who may not know where their next meal is coming from.
We do want to stress that these aren't just 'add-ons' to make your life busier, they are actually central to our mission. As we share the table together, welcome in the stranger, and celebrate God's gracious provision to us, we are doing something that is distinctly Christian—we are proclaiming and embodying the gospel of Jesus.
